• Piano, guitars, and selection of other instruments available for practicing musicians.
• During the fall and winter months, we usually keep a cozy fire burning in the fireplace in the library.

Guest Policies

• Check-in any time after 3pm. Earlier check-in available upon request when available, at no extra charge.
• Check-out time is 11am. Late check-outs are sometimes available upon request, at no extra charge.
• We currently do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment in cash or through digital e-transfer. Credit/debit coming soon.
• Cancellation policy: No charge, but we appreciate the courtesy of a phone call.
• Our breakfast menu will please omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. For any other dietary needs or restrictions, please let us know in advance.
• We have a large amount of parking space available.
• We regret that we are currently not wheelchair accessible, although that is one of our eventual goals.
• Laundry service is available, $15 per load.
• Iron & ironing board are available at no charge, upon request.
• We have sundry items available for sale at very low cost, including toiletries, postage stamps, beverages, and so on.
• If you are a guest with a wood smoke allergy, please let us know in advance, and we will forego the use of the fireplace during your visit.

Restrictions

• We only have two rooms (Butternut and Juniper) available at the present time, due to ongoing renovations to Arbutus and Sequoia. We expect those renovations to be completed by the end of January 2025.
• We are a non-smoking home, although we permit smoking outdoors in designated spaces.
• We regret that we do not allow pets.
• We currently have the entire home rented out to someone doing a temporary work contract in Sackville that runs until late October. We look forward to resuming full operations starting in November of 2024!
